Sally – Narrowboats
Located in the ancient Saxon Town of Bradford-on-Avon, half an hour’s drive from the World Heritage City of Bath, Sally Narrowboats is an independent narrowboat hire company on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Our Fleet

All boats have a fully fitted galley including a full size cooker and oven, all cutlery and crockery is onboard, various utensils and cooking equipment are also provided for your use.  Showers, a full central heating system and hot and cold running water.  Courtesy / privacy doors are fitted between the cabins.  A stereo radio CD, colour TV, 240 volt electrical system and a 240v hairdryer are also supplied.

We have a variety of berth options:- from intimate two berth boats right up to those which can cater for groups of ten.  Short breaks start either Friday to Monday – or – Monday or Friday.

We also offer Day boat hire afloat on the beautiful Kennet canal on one of Sally Narrowboat’s Dayboats, Jacy, Emily Katherine, Sally or Grace?
Whilst they are designed to carry up to twelve people, you don’t have to have that many on board – two can easily manage either boat.

Situated in the Bradford on Avon Marina, Sally Narrowboats is easily accessible from both the M4 and M5 motorways, and only a short walk or taxi journey from Bradford On Avon train station.  To ensure that you enjoy your canal narrow boat holiday to the full, before you begin your cruise one of our professional staff will instruct you in the safe handling of the boat as well as the operation of locks and swing bridges.  For your total peace of mind our training and handover protocols have been accredited by BMF, the British Marine Industry’s trade association.
